A pressure washing job starts with a walk of the property to look at what kind of surface is actually being cleaned. Plain concrete, stamped concrete, limestone, and pavers all take pressure differently, and a surface that looks fine on a driveway can pit or streak on a softer material like limestone or old aggregate. Oil spots, rust from sprinkler heads, and tree sap get pre treated before any water hits them, because blasting a stain without breaking it down first just spreads it.
The actual wash usually runs from the high point of the surface down, so dirty water sheets off instead of pooling and re depositing grime. A surface cleaner attachment handles the open flat runs for an even finish, while a hand wand gets edges, steps, and tight corners.
